Our infrastructure does exactly what it was minimally designed to do. It looks a certain way and wastes energy. It fails. It fails every day, all day until it falls down or is taken down.
Oftentimes it doesn’t even look very good. It’s a miserable grinding failure until we reinvent our infrastructure of living in this world.
